Privacy Policy

Last reviewed:

SlotRadar (“SlotRadar”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website at https://slotradar.io. SlotRadar is an independent data project that tracks live betting activity on crypto-casino slots and publishes rankings, analytics, and editorial commentary based on that data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from you when you visit the site, how we use that information, and what choices you have. By using SlotRadar you agree to the practices described below.

This policy applies to visitors from every jurisdiction. Where we collect personal data from individuals in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or California, additional rights apply and are described in the relevant sections below.

1. Information we collect

SlotRadar collects only the minimum information necessary to operate the site, measure performance, and route inbound communications. We do not require accounts, logins, or registrations for any of the public content on the site.

Automatically collected (every visit):

  • IP address (used for routing, anti-abuse, and approximate country geolocation).
  • User agent string (browser, operating system, device class).
  • Pages you view and the timestamps of each view.
  • Referrer (the page you arrived from, if any).
  • Approximate geographic region inferred from IP — never precise location.
  • Performance and error telemetry from your browser (Core Web Vitals, JavaScript errors).

Voluntarily provided:

  • The contents of any email you send to [email protected], [email protected], or other published SlotRadar address.
  • Search queries you enter into the on-site search.
  • Your cookie consent preferences (stored locally in your browser).

What we do NOT collect:

  • We do not require accounts and do not store passwords.
  • We do not collect payment information — SlotRadar does not process payments.
  • We do not collect government identification or KYC data.
  • We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years of age.

Legal bases (EEA / UK visitors only)

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies to our processing of your personal data, we rely on the following legal bases under Article 6:

  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — operating, maintaining, and securing the website; generating aggregated traffic statistics; detecting and preventing abusive traffic patterns.
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — for any non-essential cookies that require consent under ePrivacy rules, and for voluntary communications you initiate.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — responding to court orders, regulatory inquiries, and other lawful requests from competent authorities.

SlotRadar does not currently rely on Article 6(1)(b) (contract), 6(1)(d) (vital interests), or 6(1)(e) (public task) for any processing.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the website.
  • Generate aggregated, anonymous traffic statistics that help us understand which content is useful.
  • Detect and prevent abusive traffic patterns, scraping, and fraud.
  • Respond to inquiries, partnership requests, corrections, or operator-identification requests sent to our editorial inbox.
  • Comply with legal obligations, court orders, and lawful requests from competent authorities.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your personal information with affiliate partners except in aggregated, anonymised form (e.g. monthly referral totals).

3. Cookies and similar technologies

SlotRadar uses essential cookies that are always on, plus optional analytics cookies that load only if you opt in.

Essential (always on):

  • Cookie consent state (klaro-consent), so the consent banner does not repeatedly re-appear on every visit.
  • NextAuth session and CSRF tokens, set only if you sign in to the admin area (the public site does not require sign-in).
  • Cloudflare bot-management cookies (__cf_bm), set briefly to distinguish human visitors from automated bots. Cleared automatically when you close your browser.

Analytics (off by default — set only if you opt in):

  • Google Analytics 4 cookies (_ga, _ga_*), used to produce anonymous, aggregated page-view statistics so we can see which slot and casino pages are most read. These are set only after you grant analytics consent via the cookie banner or the footer “Cookie Settings” link. Declining — or never opting in — means no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected. Withdrawing consent later also clears these cookies.

We do not set advertising cookies or first-party marketing cookies, and we do not embed third-party advertising pixels on SlotRadar pages. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses, and we load it under Google Consent Mode so that no analytics storage occurs until you consent.

Our consent management mechanism is Klaro, a self-hosted open-source library (BSD-3 licensed) that runs entirely on slotradar.io — no third-party consent vendor sees your visit. Use the “Cookie Settings” link in the site footer at any time to review or change your preferences.

Note on affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link to a partner casino, the partner casino may set its own cookies on its own domain (typically to attribute the click to SlotRadar for commission tracking). Those cookies are set by the partner casino, not by SlotRadar, and are governed by the partner casino's privacy policy.

4. Third parties we work with

SlotRadar relies on a small number of third-party services to deliver the site. These services may receive limited information about your visit, as required to do their job. We do not share more than necessary, and each provider operates under their own privacy policy:

  • Cloudflare — content delivery, DDoS protection, edge routing, email routing for SlotRadar role-based addresses. Receives your IP address and request metadata.
  • SlotLaunch — third-party slot demo iframe provider, loaded only when you choose to play a slot demo. SlotLaunch operates under its own privacy policy.
  • Storyblok — editorial CMS for some article content. Receives no user data from public visits.
  • Google (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) — Google Analytics 4, for anonymous, aggregated page-view statistics. Loads only if you opt into analytics via the cookie banner. When active it receives page-view events (page URL, referrer, approximate region, and device/browser type) but no IP address and no directly identifying information. Operates under Google's privacy policy. Withdraw consent at any time via the footer “Cookie Settings”.
  • Affiliate partners — the crypto-casino operators we link to (the current list is published at /en/casinos). When you click an affiliate link, your browser navigates to the partner casino, which receives standard HTTP request information — your IP address, your browser's User-Agent string, and the referrer URL (the SlotRadar page you came from) — as a normal consequence of browser navigation. This is outside SlotRadar's control. SlotRadar itself does not transmit any additional data about you to the partner casino beyond the click and its referral parameter.

We may add or change sub-processors from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by bumping the Last reviewed date at the top of this page.

5. Affiliate links and tracking

Some links on SlotRadar are affiliate links. When you click through to a partner casino and subsequently sign up or deposit, SlotRadar may receive a commission. The affiliate-tracking cookies are set by the partner casino, not by us — we simply pass a referral parameter in the URL identifying SlotRadar as the source.

Our affiliate disclosure is visible in the site footer and on every page that contains affiliate links (marked with rel=“nofollow sponsored”). Rankings on SlotRadar reflect live data — they are never influenced by affiliate compensation. See our Terms of Service and Methodology page for the full policy.

6. Data retention

Server logs (containing IP address, user agent, requested URL) are retained for a reasonable period — typically up to 30 days — for security and abuse-detection purposes, then deleted. Aggregated, anonymised traffic statistics (page views per day, country totals) are retained indefinitely for trend analysis — but contain no information that can identify an individual visitor.

Emails you send us are retained for as long as the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. You can request deletion at any time via [email protected].

7. International data transfers

SlotRadar is operated from one jurisdiction and served globally via Cloudflare's content delivery network. Your IP address and request metadata will pass through Cloudflare edge servers in your geographic region (or the nearest one) before reaching our origin servers. Where personal data is transferred from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland to a country without an adequacy decision, the transfer is covered by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards adopted by Cloudflare.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have different rights over your personal information. You can exercise any of the rights below by emailing [email protected]. We respond within the timeframes required by the applicable law: one month for GDPR / UK GDPR requests (extendable to three months for complex requests under Article 12(3)), or 45 days for CCPA requests (extendable to 90 days for complex requests).

If you are in the EEA or UK (GDPR / UK GDPR):

  • Right of access — request a copy of your personal data we hold.
  • Right to rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) — request deletion of your data.
  • Right to restriction of processing — temporarily pause our use of your data.
  • Right to data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Right to object — to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
  • Right to withdraw consent — for processing that relies on consent.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
  • Right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing — SlotRadar does not make automated decisions about you (we have no user accounts, no profiling, and no scoring systems applied to individual visitors).

If you are in California (CCPA / CPRA):

  • Right to know what personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to delete that personal information.
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information — but you can still exercise this right preemptively).
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect sensitive personal information).
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

9. Children's privacy

SlotRadar is intended for users aged 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.

10. Security

SlotRadar serves all traffic over HTTPS with strict transport security. Server access is restricted to authorised operators using key-based authentication via a private network. We use industry-standard security practices to protect the limited personal information we hold, but no system is perfectly secure. If you become aware of any security issue, please report it to [email protected].

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. The current version is always available at this URL, with the “Last reviewed” date at the top updated accordingly. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for at least 14 days.
